I personally believe Middlehurst lamb is superior. The flavour is that of the old days. I grew up on a farm in the Waikato. All of our milk, beef and lamb was off the farm. We could never understand why bought meat simply did not taste anywhere near as good as it was direct off the farm. The Middlehurst lamb has this original authentic flavour that puts an un-wipeable smile on your face.So flavoursome.

Just the Best!

OYSTER SHOULDER. I find Shoulder meat the absolute tastiest and most succulent and with most of the bones removed from this cut it is so easy to slice. Middlehurst Merino Lamb is unequalled….being so tender and the flavour is mouthwatering. No need for masses of Spices and Herbs….just long slow roasting. Thank you Middlehurst,! Joy McRobie

Beautiful flavour, and oh so tender

I ordered a Merino oyster shoulder for the first time. Cooked it slowly until the meat was literally falling off the bone and it was gorgeous and really good value too - it made many more meals than I expected. The old adage is true… you get what you pay for and this lamb is the best.

Best lamb ever

Marinated overnight olive oil, garlic, rosemary and rock salt. Covered in a roasting pan with a base of onions and some water. 100c for 12 hours. Absolutely the best lamb we ever tasted. Jus was a great accompaniment after sieve and reducing. No need for cornflour just a little butter.
