We are proud to offer a product that represents the best of New Zealand’s high-country farming heritage.
Situated in the rugged, arid, and remote mountains of the Awatere, we have had to adapt to this challenging environment and breed a merino lamb that can thrive in these conditions.
The ‘WOW’ factor of Middlehurst Beef & Lamb lies in the unique flavour and quality of our Meats. The challenging conditions of the high country and our dedication to preserving the land and nurturing our flock result in a product that is not only delicious but also ethically and sustainably produced.
The animals are hand-picked to ensure consistency and quality. The unique flavour of the Beef & Lamb is a result of the high-country herbs and lush green grasses of the Canterbury foothills, where we finish our lambs. The genetics of the lamb allow for a higher intramuscular fat (IMF) ratio, making for a completely unique eating experience.
We prioritise transparency and traceability. This is why we exclusively source our Beef & Lamb directly from Middlehurst Station.
